1956 Chevy Panel

Undoubably the strangest vehicle I've ever owned, a 1956 Chevrolet panel truck with a 1961 348/335hp engine and Muncie 4-speed transmission. Even sounded like an old truck. Rust was everywhere, over the headlights, rocker panels, etc. Even the driver side door hinges were rusted so bad the door wouldn't open; I had to enter/exit with the passenger side door. An old utility truck owned by the "The Wichita Eagle" newspaper with only one seat. Somewhere I came across a single bucket seat for passenger use and put a full size matress in the back to keep the seat (and passenger) from sliding back and banging into the back door.
